This year we present the third issue of the coin, Time of Contempt. I can’t wait to pick up the next book.Return of the White Wolf! Experience the next amazing adventures of the White Wolf minted in the purest silver! Each coin from the " The Witcher Book Series" sells out in a flash and additionally gains in value. This book is a little slower than the rest of the series has been, but I have a feeling that it is mostly buildup for the next book, Baptism of Fire. She is going to be a badass just like Geralt-actually even more than Geralt. However, Ciri does need to discover herself. Together, they make such a great team and I have really enjoyed seeing Ciri learn from him. I also miss him and Ciri traveling together.
We did not get to see his full fighting greatness in this book.
I do wish there were some more monster battles in this book. Am I missing something about her? She doesn’t deserve Geralt. So I think before I start the next book, I am going to do a little studying so I can have a better idea of all the politics. Sorcerers are under the control of kings, who are always declaring war on one another. The world-building is so incredible that I feel like I need some sort of guide while I am reading. Geralt and Ciri are separated and both in danger. However, the Wizard’s Guild deals with a coup. Yennefer, an enchantress assists Geralt with keeping Ciri out of sight. Ciri is a young woman now and determined to forge her own path. There are those who seek Ciri for their own gains and Geralt can’t trust anyone. However, war has been declared everywhere. Now his destiny lies with Ciri, a young girl whose future will determine the fate of the world. He is made to take down the most ferocious of monsters. So now I am ahead of the game!įor those just tuning in…Geralt is a witcher. Rumor has it that the show will only consist of The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, and Blood of Elves. The Time of Contempt by Andrzej Sapkowski is the second book in The Witcher Series.
